I-ASIST training aims to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce, communities and people who work within their communities to recognise Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people who are thinking about suicide and connect them to a resource who can help them to choose life. I-ASIST is a 2 day workshop delivered by Indigenous trainers. I-ASIST provides a culturally appropriate framework to prevent suicide, by learning the skills to help keep someone safe.
