Physical performance coaches (PPC) use assessment and screening, individualised training and conditioning, required recovery and overall load management to help high performance athletes achieve their athletic potential.

The UniSC Strength and Conditioning Service enables athletes to access the knowledge, expertise, and support of sport and exercise scientists.

UniSC Clinics offer students practical experience and professional services to the wider community.
Research opportunities
Add to a body of work that includes biomechanics, exercise physiology, psychology, coaching, and motor control and learning. Specialist research laboratories are accredited by the Australian Institute of Sport.
Study sport and exercise science
We've partnered up with the big names in sport to give you the chance to build your skills amongst the best. Gain practical skills in UniSC's AIS-accredited sports science labs, and learn from specialist teachers – many of whom hold major coaching and sports science roles with national and international sporting teams.

Sunshine Coast Lightning
The Sunshine Coast’s first national sporting team, Sunshine Coast Lightning, won the national championship in its first season.
