Tertiary Preparation Pathway
Application for admission to TPP is made on-line through the QTAC website.
Exception: If you currently hold a deferred place in TPP at USC, refer to the Deferred applicants section below.
Undergraduate programs
Application for admission to undergraduate degree, associate degree or diploma programs are made online through the QTAC website.
The below applicants can apply online directly to USC.
- USC Tertiary Preparation Pathways (TPP) students who are currently enrolled in, or have had an enrolment in the previous two years; or
- USC / TAFE Articulation program students; or
- USC students who have completed an undergraduate program within the last two years, or are due to complete their program prior to their proposed semester of commencement; or
- USC students who have completed at least one semester of study in their current program and want to study another program concurrently (note: not all program combinations are permitted for concurrent study); or
- Concurrent study not permitted with the Bachelor of Midwifery
- Concurrent study not permitted between the Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science and the Bachelor of Biomedical Science
- Former USC students who have been excluded from study at USC; or
- USC Diploma students who are currently enrolled in, or have had an enrolment in the previous two years
Apply online directly to USC if you are a:
- Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP) student currently enrolled in, or have had an enrolment in the previous two years;
- USC students who have completed an undergraduate program within the last two years, or are due to complete their program prior to their proposed semester of commencement;
- USC / TAFE Articulation program students;
- USC students who are currently enrolled in one program and want to study another program concurrently. Note: not all program combinations are permitted for concurrent study):
- Concurrent study not permitted with the Bachelor of Midwifery

Deferred applicants
If you currently hold a deferred place at USC, you can take up your deferred place by completing and submitting an online form.

This form is used to apply for USC honours programs excluding the Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology)(Honours)

Postgraduate coursework programs
Applications for admission to the Master of Teaching (Secondary) and the Master of Teaching (Primary) are made through the QTAC website.
Exception: Applicants who have had an enrolment in the past two years in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program at USC must apply directly to Student Central by completing and submitting the Application for Postgraduate Coursework (PDF 467KB) *.

Please note: To apply for admission to the Master of Counselling you will need to apply through ApplyUSC and complete the following forms as part of the application.

Headstart Program
These forms are used by Year 11 and 12 students to apply for USC courses while still completing high school.

Early Offer Guarantee
This form is used by year 12 students from eligible schools to apply for USC's Early Offer Guarantee.
Form: This form will be available from August 2021 for Semester 1 2022

Cross-institutional study
This form is for students currently studying at another institution and wishing to enrol in USC course(s).
Note: If you are a current USC student and wish to undertake study at another institution, complete a cross-institutional approval form, available from the student forms and document requests page.

Visiting students
This form is used to apply directly to the University to complete one or more individual courses (subjects) for professional or personal development, rather than enrolling in an undergraduate degree program.

Credit transfer and recognition of prior learning
Use this form to apply for credit transfer towards your USC program for study completed at another institution, or to apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL). RPL is the process of assessing knowledge and skills developed through other learning, informal studies or work-related learning, to determine whether the skills and knowledge contribute to meeting the learning outcomes and assessment criteria of a course or program at USC.
