Lauren Cavanagh is an allied health clinician with the Thompson Institute’s clinical service for young people, Myndset.
Lauren holds a Masters in Social Work and has worked across several fields of practice including health and mental health, education, and international development. Clinically, Lauren has extensive experience working in child and youth mental health.
In her position with Myndset, Lauren provides psychological services and clinical care coordination to young people with or at risk of developing complex or severe mental illness. Lauren draws upon her social work skills, knowledge and experience to provide evidence-based assessments and interventions for this vulnerable cohort.
An active member of the Australian Association of Social Workers, Lauren is passionate about social justice, advocacy, and challenging stigma and discrimination
