Hundreds of students take opportunity to Explore USC

More than 400 Year 7 and 8 students from across the region will converge on the University of the Sunshine Coast this week to experience activities ranging from robotics to nursing and exercise analysis.

The students from nine local high schools are taking part in an Explore USC event on campus at Sippy Downs tomorrow and Thursday (2-3 November).

They will work in USC’s state-of-the-art facilities like its motion laboratory, moot court and nursing facilities as they gain a taste of what it is like to attend university.

Media are welcome to attend. The best times to photograph or film the Explore USC activities are from 9.35-11.15am and from 11.45am-1.15pm on both days

Each student has chosen two activities from a list that highlights USC’s study options in Engineering, Nursing Science, Japanese, Law, Sport and Exercise Science and Outdoor Education.
