Robotics Immersion Days

USC in partnership with RoboCoast Sunshine Coast Robotics Association with the support of the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources are hosting Robotics Immersion Days in the region.

Primary and Secondary schools are invited to bring along 10 students and teachers to learn how to build and code LEGO robotics (EV3 and Spike Prime) or mBot Ranger robots for competition.

During the day students work with a partner to build, code and compete in a Sumo challenge. Teachers learn alongside their students as well as having the opportunity to talk to the RoboCoast expert presenters about how they run robotics clubs in their schools or how they integrate robotics into their curriculum.

If schools do not have laptops or robots these can be loaned for the duration of the event.
