What's new at USC in 2021

Last year was a challenging year for many. The upheaval of the pandemic saw students transition to a period of online learning, but it also welcomed some new opportunities for USC. This year we’ve introduced a new suite of online programs and short courses to help students make 2021 their best year yet.

USC Online

Last year, we opened a new campus in Moreton Bay and this year we’ve created yet another to access our programs…online. USC will offer a range of online degrees to allow greater flexibility and study opportunities for those previously unable to attend university due to work or family commitments.

New students will have the option to choose from a range of programs including Arts, Business, Communications, Creative Industries, Criminology, Design and IT.

Unlike traditional distance education in which you usually don’t get to know the staff or each other, USC will focus on using interactive technology to connect and learn, whether on campus, in your home or in your workplace.

If you choose to study online, you’ll still have access to a wide range of student services and facilities at your local campus, including the support you need to fit study in with work and life.

If you’re thinking about a new career, you can get started with an online degree and have the flexibility to study in the way that suits you.

New short courses

Looking to upskill or retrain in 2021? As part of the Federal Government's Job Ready Graduates package, USC is offering Commonwealth supported places in a range of short courses designed to help you build skills and knowledge in areas of national priority.

You can choose from a range of short courses in Business, Communication, Design, Education, Environmental Studies, Law and Criminology, Health, Psychology, Science and Engineering.

There are also full fee paying places in professional short courses that can help boost your career in as little as six months.

New study guide

We’ve just released our new-look 2022 Study Guide with all the information on studying at USC, including entry requirements, how to apply, pathways, support services and plenty more. Make sure to download a copy today.
