The Sunshine Coast is developing rapidly and creating opportunities for transformation. To get the planning and design right we need progressive discourse.
The BASC Lab invites you to explore with researchers and leading practitioners the following questions: How would a subtropical version of the 20-minute neighbourhood concept look that embraces the core objectives of the biosphere? What are the possibilities if we consider biophilic design and reconnect meaningfully to place?
This stimulating Expert TRIALOG aims at exploring the complex connection between planning and landscape architecture and humankind’s solidarity with place, which could sustain balanced outcomes for all. Be part of the critical conversation, learn more about the latest evidence, and gain progressive ideas that can potentially disrupt the mainstream discourse, particularly framed around the reimagining of the urban future for Maroochydore.
