Clinical trials for PTSD and psychological trauma

Treatments for PTSD that provide long-term relief are lacking. Our clinical trials investigate promising new treatments and, importantly, any associated improvements to brain structure and function.

We have new studies of promising treatments for PTSD opening soon.

To be notified when trials open, please register your interest with our Clinical Research team: ti_clinicalresearch@usc.edu.au.

Trauma treatment study

We invite adults with a trauma memory, or PTSD symptoms or a diagnosis of PTSD, to help us investigate a new treatment's feasibility and links to brain functions.

Taking expressions of interest for 2025.

Dont Keep It All Bottled Up

Please note: as a mental health research centre we care about the health and safety of our participants and the members of the public we interact with. This duty of care may involve escalation of care to crisis support services if we feel your safety is at risk.
