Scholarship applications for Semester 1, 2025 are now open and close on 3 December 2024 (extended).
Please be aware you may not be able to access the scholarship application form from 30 November to the morning of 2 December 2024 due to system maintenance.
All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by close of business, 28 February 2025.
The Mature Age Study Support Bursary aims to provide assistance to students with demonstrated financial need and commitments or responsibilities outside of their studies.
The Mature Age Study Support Bursary is available to mature-aged female students enrolled at any UniSC campus.
Recipients will receive payment in regular fortnightly instalments over Semester 1 and Semester 2 in the year the bursary is awarded.
Please Note: This bursary is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the bursary will not be awarded.

- Eligibility
- continuing student having successfully completed a minimum of 48 units
- female student aged 25 or older
- enrolled full-time or part-time in any undergraduate program at UniSC
- minimum GPA (grade point average) of 4.0
- Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, Permanent Australian Humanitarian Visa holder or permanent resident of Australia
- Selection criteria
- financial need
- hours worked in paid employment or commitment to activities that impact on the time available for the student to study (e.g. compulsory fieldwork placement, significant carer responsibilities)
