As part of a Higher Education Participation and Partnerships Program (HEPPP) initiative, Caboolture Health Experience has been meticulously designed to offer valuable opportunities for eligible high school students in the local community.

This initiative aims to provide these students with an immersive exploration of the thriving healthcare industry. By visiting various healthcare facilities in the Greater Caboolture region, students have gained valuable insights into a wide range of career prospects in nursing, allied health, social work, and business administration.

Students from Alta-1 College, Morayfield, Tullawong and Caboolture State High Schools visited a range of health care facilities including the Health Hub Doctors Morayfield, Metro North Health Caboolture Hospital, St Paul’s Retirement Living and Aged Care and Caboolture Shared Campus.

Through interactive sessions and guided tours, the students had the chance to engage with health professionals and gain a deeper understanding of the potential career paths available to them and empowers students to pursue their passions and consider higher education in healthcare-related fields.

To help give these students a head start towards reaching their goal of working in the health care sector, UniSC has a range of Headstart courses available for Year 10, Year 11 or Year 12 students to study while they are at school.
