Kali Gray is a Community Health Educator with the Thompson Institute and is passionate about translating neuroscience and mental health research into programs that assist people’s lives.
Kali has more than ten years' experience in training, educating and facilitating on topics related to lifestyle and its role in mental health and wellbeing.
She develops and/or delivers Thompson Institute community and industry educational programs, including the Brain Science for Wellbeing webinars, safeTALK suicide alertness training, ASIST suicide intervention training, and General Mental Health Awareness Training.
She is a key member of the Alliance for Suicide Prevention community program, which has received an Engagement Australia Excellence in Engagement Award for its unique approach to equipping individuals to support others in their community.
Kali has extensive experience working with disordered eating, in her previous role as a dietitian. Kali also has a special interest in corporate wellbeing and has delivered training across a wide range of industries including oil and gas, finance, automotive, retail, IT, law and engineering.
Kali has a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health and Neuroscience, is an accredited practising dietitian, and is a registered LivingWorks suicide prevention trainer.
