Dr Michelle Maugham-Macan joined the School of Health and Behavioural Science at USC as a Lecturer in Biomedical Science in February 2020.
Prior to joining USC, Michelle worked as an Associate Lecturer in Anatomy and Physiology and Research Fellow at the Australian Centre for Prostate Cancer Research - Queensland, Queensland University of Technology (2018-2020) investigating the link between metabolic syndrome and advanced prostate cancer and developing novel drug treatments which target metabolic dysregulation in addition to cancer growth.
Michelle is passionate about enabling learning in Biomedical Science and furthering health research in drug development and quality use of medicines.
