Breadcrumbs

The Psychology Clinic provides mental health services to the community and also functions as an advanced teaching, training and research facility for postgraduate students (Provisional Psychologists) in the Master of Psychology (Clinical) and Master of Professional Psychology programs at USC.

Through their training in the Psychology Clinic, Provisional Psychologists develop knowledge and skills necessary to work as professional clinical psychologists.

The Provisional Psychologists are in their 5th year of professional training, are registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold Blue Cards.

All clinical work undertaken by Provisional Psychologists in the Psychology Clinic is supervised by experienced Clinical Psychologists. These supervisors are registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. They are members (or eligible for membership) of the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Psychologists and the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).
