Errol Gibbins Scholarship

Eligible students will be contacted by the UniSC Scholarships Team.

The Errol Gibbins Scholarship aims to support tertiary education for local Sunshine Coast students who demonstrate academic potential but face financial and other barriers to completing an undergraduate degree.

The Errol Gibbins Scholarship honours the memory and legacy of Errol George Gibbins, a hard-working farmer who lived and worked at Forest Glen on the Sunshine Coast. Errol employed many local people and made a significant contribution to the community both directly and through his involvement with Rotary.

The scholarship will support one (1) eligible UniSC student from the Nambour area enrolled in a business or accounting program with financial assistance valued at $5000 per annum for up to four years of full-time study. The scholarship aims to offset living and study related costs, giving the recipient the freedom to focus on their education without having to work excessive hours, removing some of the barriers that may hinder academic achievement.

Recipients will receive $5,000 per year as regular fortnightly payments for up to 4 years. The scholarship will be paid in 8 instalments each semester for up to 8 semesters.
