USC 1996 Society Study Support Bursaries

Applications for Semester 2 2022 scholarships have now closed.

Applicants will be advised the outcome of their application by close of business on Friday 26 August 2022.

Study support bursaries for continuing undergraduate students who have completed at least one semester in any undergraduate program at USC.

The USC 1996 Society is the vehicle in which supporters of USC, members of the community, alumni, and staff, can contribute to the University’s general endowment, the USC Visionaries Fund. The USC 1996 Society Study Support Bursaries are made possible by the generous support of the members and visionaries who contribute to the endowment.

USC 1996 Society Study Support Bursaries are paid to students from low socio-economic backgrounds, with a preference for students who must work to support their studies. It is intended that recipients will be able to commit more time to their studies and engaging in university life, with less time in paid employment. Students working long hours during the semester period are encouraged to apply.

The bursary will be valued at $2,000 and paid in 8 fortnightly instalments over semester 2.

Please Note:  This bursary is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the bursary will not be awarded.
