Dilli Village is one of the few places on K'gari that permits campfires, providing there is not a total fire ban in place on the island. However it is a requirement that all guests and day visitors, when booking in, obtain permission to light a fire during their stay. Should weather conditions deteriorate during your stay, the on-site caretakers will notify all guests of the impact on fires.

The K'gari Research and Learning Centre has a range of facilities with options for campers, researchers and school groups.

Modern toilet and shower facilities, covered barbeque areas, powered camping sites and cabins are all within the safety of a dingo-proof fence.

A dining area with kitchen facilities is available for self-catering and use by large groups. Please contact the on-site caretakers for kitchen hire costs.

Researchers and students have access to an open classroom for lessons or lectures.

Self-catering

The cabins are partially self-contained (microwave but no oven). Additionally, a number of barbecues are available, free-of-charge, for guest use.

Groups may hire the kitchen and dining hall for self-catering purposes. Please contact our on-site caretakers for kitchen hire costs.
