Medical and health sciences
Paramedic Science simulation areas
Paramedic Science students use a simulated on-road ambulance to practice emergency situations. A training area gives students practice treating patients in a home environment.
Our Nutrition students use this fully equipped commercial kitchen to practice food prep and complete practical assessments.
Manufacturing and structural testing
The manufacturing laboratory has two state-of-the-art, computer numeric controlled (CNC) machines used to convert students' ideas into prototypes.
Engineering training area
This multi-purpose laboratory is for practical experiments that reinforce course content. It's used for everything from pavement engineering and materials testing to geomechanics, fluid mechanics and hydrology.
Robotics and automation lab
The big, orange ABB robot helps students learn fundamentals like robot path planning and pick-and-place movements.

Performing Arts Centre
A new performing arts centre at USC Sunshine Coast will have an internal performance area for an audience of 80 and a stage for larger crowds that opens out to a lawn and the USC Art Gallery piazza.
It will feature professional-quality recording and video studios, a black box theatre production space, and Queensland's first MIT Fab Lab Maker Space.
USC Art Gallery is embarking on an expansion made possible through the generosity of the late Arija Austin.
The project will see an expansion of the gallery's footprint through the construction of additional exhibition space, storage of our growing University art collection, and space for programs and events.
Psychology and social sciences
USC Psychology Telehealth Clinic
The USC Psychology Telehealth Clinic provides free mental health services to the community using phone and video conferencing, and also functions as an advanced teaching, training and research facility for postgraduate students (provisionally registered psychologists) in the Master of Psychology (Clinical) and Master of Professional Psychology programs at USC.
Sport and fitness
High Performance Sport Precinct
USC Sunshine Coast features a A$24M sports stadium, Olympic-standard 50 metre pool, 25 metre pool and aquatic recovery facilities, gym, and athletics track. The facilities are home to the Sunshine Coast Lightning netball team as well as Olympic and Paralympic champions.
The CAVE2TM is a next-generation, 320-degree immersive 3D space that puts you in the centre of complex visual data. Boasting 80 interactive panels, CAVE2TM is one of only four of its kind in the world, and the only one used for teaching and learning.
The Collaboration Studio is an interactive visualisation space. The display panels are 3D and touch enabled, and each table connects to the main display, so students can lead workshops and share and interact with data and images from their own laptops and phones.
