You’ll gain an understanding of the social environment technology operates within, be guided through digital investigator methods and frameworks, gain expertise in digital forensic examinations, and receive mentoring from key experts and innovators in the field while you conduct your own cyber research project.

Taught online, this program is for current computer science or ICT professionals who want to become leaders in cyber security. If you don’t hold an undergraduate degree in computer science (or a related discipline), the Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security can provide a pathway to the master’s degree.

In this program you will:

  • Learn how to manage complex cybercrime investigations and undertake cyber forensics on current and emerging technologies.
  • Understand the ethical and legal issues associated with cybercrime investigations and develop decision-making tools to assess, evaluate and analyse digital data.
  • Gain insights from key industry experts and be engaged in our virtual industry placement program.

Admission requirements

To be considered for admission candidates would normally be required to possess an undergraduate degree from a recognised higher education institution with a technology-related course work component or equivalent.

Please note that offshore international students enrolling in this program can only study it fully online. This program is not available to onshore international students on a Student Visa.
