INT235 International Relations: Theory and Practice

International relations (IR) is discussed in the context of a changing international environment on the assumption that many political theorists are attempting to understand and explain the transformations in the world in which we live. The course analyses political theory and its relationship to the practicalities of international relations. Human security and international and global politics are presented from a chronological and thematic perspective.
