This course introduces you to studying the earth and global environmental change. Using foundational concepts and principles of place and space, you will learn about earth systems and processes and the role of humans in changing these. You will focus on the distributions, characteristics, and human-environment interactions in world environments at different scales using mapping and problem-solving techniques, and critically analyse the implications of human practices for planning and sustaining the earth.
