DES221 Introduction to Interaction & UX Design

This course will introduce you to the concepts of User Interface, Interaction and User Experience design together with the codes, tools, skills and standards required to create effective interactive media for the online environment. You will learn the critical relationships between varying interface and interaction design elements. These elements include: ideation; wireframing; prototyping; information architecture; user scenarios and usability testing; HTML5 and CSS writing; rationale writing and pitching; and search engine optimisation.
