Profile

Eryn’s current research is concerned with systems theory, enhanced accident analysis and accident prediction in safety critical domains. She is completing her PhD at USC, investigating ways to forecast accidents before they occur applying methods of system thinking in accident causation to the outdoor education and recreation sector.

Eryn has 12 years’ experience in applied research and completed an honours degree (first class) at Queensland University of Technology that examined human interaction in digital environments. Eryn previously worked at the Australasian CRC for Interaction Design as part of a multidisciplinary team working on the design of new and emerging technologies.
