Alannah Morrison qualified as an Advanced Care Paramedic II in 2009. Since then she has worked in both urban and rural and remote locations and has held positions including Officer in Charge and Clinical Support Officer within the Ambulance Service.
In 2014, Alannah commenced at the University of the Sunshine Coast and has completed Graduate Certificate of Education and is continuing to develop her education practice.
Since 2004, Alannah has been an active member of St John Ambulance holding positions such as State Paramedic which role includes clinical policy development, clinical reviews and auditing and credentialing of Paramedics within the organisation. Currently Alannah is a member of the Medical Advisory Committee providing advice and recommendations on clinical matters for the whole of organisation.
Currently Alannah is completing a Masters of Science by research, exploring the influences on paramedic clinical decision making in relation to the paramedics decision to transport the patient or discharge the patient at scene.
