We are committed to research that is collaborative and has measurable benefits to the community. We partner with major national and international organisations to develop solutions around social issues and create real programs for use by real people.
We are able to find different solutions to difficult problems by bringing together our experience from a variety of disciplines including: mental health, positive psychology, nursing, public health, health promotion, social sciences, counselling, planning, art and design, information technology, game design, sport science, education, engineering and business.
We build on technologies which are familiar to users such as social networking sites, computer games, smartphone and tablet applications, and interactive artworks and experiences.
We provide an exciting and rewarding research experience for HDR students, early career researchers, research fellows and our collaborating partners. Our researchers develop the latest technologies and collaborate with world leaders in their discipline.
Join with us on our mission to empower and inspire people through technology to flourish in their worlds, have positive experiences, make social connections, find meaning, experience accomplishments and achieve environmental, physical, and emotion wellbeing.
