Dr Robi Islam is a Senior Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at USC. His expertise is in power systems and renewable energy, including smart grid and micro grid technologies and the electrification of transportation, such as plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Dr Islam has taught and researched in these areas at universities around the world, including the University of New South Wales, the University of the South Pacific and Ontario Tech University. Outside his academic career, he has worked as a senior power system engineer at global professional services firm GHD.
