Starting@USC Toolkit Prize Draw

USC newly enrolled undergraduate, Postgraduate, Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP) and Headstart students who fully complete and submit a Starting@USC Toolkit online between 1 January and 21 March 2021 will be entered in a random draw for a $500 gift card or one of 5 $50 gift cards. Prize winners may convert their gift card to a donation towards the USC Student Guild Food Pantry and, in so doing, assist others studying for a degree from USC.

  1. By completing the questions in this Toolkit you are deemed to have accepted all terms and conditions. Instructions on how to enter and details advertising the survey form part of the conditions.
  2. The University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) is the promoter.
  3. Entry is free (other than the cost of completing the toolkit which is the entrant’s responsibility).
  4. Entry is open to newly enrolled USC undergraduate, postgraduate, TPP and Headstart students who will commence their degree in Semester 1, 2021 and have been invited to participate in the Starting@USC Toolkit.
  5. To enter the prize draw you must complete and submit the Toolkit online by the closing date.
  6. Entries containing incorrect contact details, incomplete fields or offensive material will be deemed invalid.
  7. Only one entry per person is permitted.
  8. The winners will be selected by a random process.
  9. Prize details are a $500 gift card or one of five $50 gift cards, alternatively, the dollar value of the prize can be donated towards the USC Student Guild Food Pantry.
  10. Any change in the value of the prizes between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the promoter.
  11. If any prize winner cannot be contacted within two weeks of the first notification or does not confirm the address to which a prize should be forwarded by the date requested, a redraw will be held for that prize. Only one redraw will take place. The redraw prize winners will be randomly selected and notified within two weeks of the redraw.
  12. The competition commences at 9am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on 1 January 2021.
  13. The competition will close at 11pm AEST on 21 March 2021.
  14. The prizes will be drawn on 22 March 2021 at USC Sunshine Coast Campus, Sippy Downs, QLD 4556. A redraw for unclaimed prizes will take place on 5 April 2021 at USC Sunshine Coast Campus, Sippy Downs, QLD 4556.
  15. The winner/s will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. The prize winner/s will be contacted by phone or email within 2 days of the draw. Prizes will be collected from Student Central at the University campus nominated by the winner/s or can be mailed (on the understanding that the voucher will not be replaced if it is lost in transit).
  17. Competition results will not be published. Enquiries in relation to competition results may be sent to studentsuccess@usc.edu.au
  18. All entries become the property of the promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, or misdirected entries.
  19. If due to circumstances beyond the control of USC, the integrity or administration of the promotion is adversely affected, USC may suspend the promotion. USC may disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
  20. Where personal details of entrants are provided as part of the competition, USC will comply with its Information Management Framework - Governing Policy.
