Scholarships available to attend the Crawford Fund conference

The Forest Industries Research Centre (FIRC) is calling for Expressions of Interest from USC students to attend The Crawford Fund Annual Conference (online): Food & Nutrition Security – The Biosecurity, Health, Trade Nexus (13-14 December).

The Crawford Fund's annual conference is a highlight of Australia's agricultural development and food security calendar. For almost 30 years we have drawn significant focus to issues worthy of global and Australian attention. Visit the Conference website for additional information as well as the program.

FIRC is offering three fully funded, online scholarships to attend the conference. To apply, please submit a 200-word (max) statement on why you are interested in attending and how it will be beneficial to your studies, along with a copy of your CV via email to Kelly Murphy – Program Manager via

Expressions of Interest close on Friday 20 August 2021.

Successful candidates will also be required to provide a short presentation at the Forestry Research Seminar Series following attendance.
