Important Safety Reminder on Campus

25 Feb 2021

As Semester 1 kicks off, we want to remind all students that safety services on campus remain in place 24/7, even during the break periods.

USC's campuses are publicly accessible at all hours, so if you find yourself on campus know that SafeUSC takes round-the-clock safety measures on campus very seriously. All campuses are monitored by CCTV, with emergency call points located across the campuses.

If you require support or have concerns for the safety of yourself or others please contact SafeUSC at any time.

  • Phone (07) 5430 1168 (it is a good idea to save this number in your phone); or
  • Email

Remember to download the SafeZone App and use your student email to sign up. SafeZone allows you to connect to the SafeUSC 24-hour control room – You can ask for help, assistance, or an immediate response when you are on any USC campus.

You can also report behaviour online, but in the event of an emergency, please dial 000. If you believe a criminal offence has been committed, you can make a report to police.

For more on-campus safety tips and information, visit the SafeUSC website or the SafeUSC operations centre on the ground floor of Building J, at the USC Sunshine Coast campus.

We hope you have a safe and enjoyable time over the holiday period!
