SafeUSC - See something, say something

SafeUSC is an initiative between Security and Emergency Management and Student Wellbeing. This service includes the SafeUSC Community Team. previously known as Security, along with specialist Wellbeing staff who provide confidential specialist support on a range of concerning behaviours and safety matters that may be impacting students.

SafeUSC is open 24 hours and can assist with any safety related matters including:

  • Emergency response and immediate assistance
  • First Aid
  • Safety escorts on campus – e.g. late-night escort to your car
  • Building access
  • SafeZone App support
  • Confidential specialist support for bullying, harassment, intimidation and harm

SafeUSC provides support and information about a range of personal and general safety issues that may be affecting you or someone you know. We provide support, planning and information for issues that are occurring both on and off campus. If you are concerned about anything relating to your safety or someone else’s safety, then come and talk to us.
