Reconciliation Week with Gail Mabo

Ms Mabo is a cultural advisor, artist and dancer, and is the spokesperson for the Mabo family.

In conjunction with National Reconciliation Week, Ms Mabo’s visit and presentation will provide a unique opportunity for students, staff and the wider community to learn about Indigenous education, research, history and cultural values from an Indigenous perspective.

“Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider Australian community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.” Reconciliation Australia
