Contractor management

USC Contact Person

USC is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for contractors engaged to work at, or for USC.

This USC web page and its associated resources have been developed to assist USC personnel who engage the services of a contractor ('USC Contact Person') to understand their obligations with respect to health and safety and what is required for them to fulfil these obligations.

Instructions

Please refer to USC's Contractor management- Guideline for definitions and more information.

Contractors are classified as either: Low Risk, Moderate Risk and High Risk in accordance with the Contractor management- Guideline.

Resources for each classification of contractor provided here will assist the USC Contact Person to fulfil their health and safety obligations. Whilst it is not mandatory to complete the below 'USC Contact Person Checklist', using it ensures that you are compliant with USC requirements with respect to contractor management.

Once the contractor has been classified, provide them with the relevant Contractor Induction Guide (Low or Moderate/High) and Checklist, for their completion. These resources are available on the contractor tab.
