A-arna Daraz

High School attended: Bribie Island State High School

Degree: Bachelor of Laws

Target graduation date: End of 2021

My Journey: All throughout High School I was very fortunate in the fact that I knew what I wanted to do when I finished school, unlike others. I knew that I wanted to dance on cruise ships and then be a dance teacher, going to University never crossed my mind. It wasn’t until grade 10 at school when I had one too many injuries that stopped me from dancing. I then focused on my studies and that’s when my passion for law began. I worked really hard in High School and achieved the right OP and was accepted into a Bachelor of Laws at USC. Even though things did not go as planned, I couldn’t be happier with my career change.

Career aspirations: I hope to one day combine my passion for working with kids and law. I would love to be a family lawyer, and make sure that children’s voices and needs are heard within the court system in family disputes.

Why did you become an ambassador?

I became an ambassador as I share a great love with this University and wish to spread it around. I believe this uni has so many great qualities that go unspoken and would love to share a few and hopefully get more people enrolling at USC.

What do you like about USC?

At USC you are not just another number enrolled. It is a close-knit university where the students and academics know each other. The small sized classes are more engaging. The atmosphere around the campus is so laid back and makes it an enjoyable environment to learn and grow in.
