8 May–7 June
This touring exhibition presents a selection of Australia’s best designer mementos from the past eight years of the Memento Australia Awards program. The exhibition showcases award winning product designs from some of Australia’s most talented artists, design and crafts practitioners. It is intended to inspire creative people to take up the challenge to develop product for their local tourism market.
The Memento Australia Awards reward and promote designers who create innovative, quality and authentic mementos for the tourism and gift retail markets. Memento entries are inspired by the diverse aspects of Australian life, land or spirit and are created by Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists in urban, regional and remote areas of Australia.
