Contractor management

UniSC Contact Person

UniSC is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for contractors engaged to work at, or for UniSC.

This UniSC web page and its associated resources have been developed to assist UniSC personnel who engage the services of a contractor ('UniSC Contact Person') to understand their obligations with respect to health and safety and what is required for them to fulfil these obligations.

Instructions

Please refer to UniSC's Contractor management- Guideline for definitions and more information.

The following resources have been developed to assist the UniSC Contact Person to fulfil their health and safety obligations when engaging a contractor. There are additional resources on the contractor tab to assist contractors.

UniSC Contact Person resources:
Contractor training:

All contractors (including any subcontractors or labour hire personnel) must complete UniSC's Online Safety Training, prior to being able to commence work at or for UniSC. This safety training is undertaken in 'Sine'. Sine is a system used by UniSC to register Contractors and Volunteers and enable them to undertake the required safety training and check in and out whilst working at, or for UniSC.

Undertaking the training module:

The online safety module can be accessed through the Sine website or by using the Sine Pro App, which is available through the App Store and Google Play.

If the contractor has not already registered with Sine, they will be asked to create an account.

Remember - contractors cannot commence work/activities at or for UniSC until they have successfully completed this training.

Contractors and/or the UniSC contact person can contact sine@usc.edu.au if they experience any difficulties or issues logging on to Sine or completing the required training.

For PDF documents you must have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded from the Adobe Download page.
