Spartans at their peak for Para Pan Pacs
30 Jul 2018
Eight USC Spartans para swimmers will head to Cairns this week to prepare for the 2018 Pan Pacific Para Championships, known as the Para Pan Pacs, from 9-13 August.
Media are welcome to attend the squad’s final training session at the USC Pool tomorrow (Tuesday 31 July), with filming from 8am and interviews from 8.30am.
Blake Cochrane, Ellie Cole, Katja Dedekind, Daniel Fox, Braedan Jason, Logan Powell and Jacob Templeton were all selected for the national team after strong performances at the Pan Pacific Championship Trials in Adelaide a month ago.
Another Spartan, Nathan Jason, narrowly missed selection but has made the Australian Development Team that will compete as a separate team at the Para Pan Pacs.
All Spartans para swimmers and coach Nathan Doyle will be available for interviews.
